Terrible product, worse customer service

xa0My 10-year-old son received a fusion trail cam for his birthday as a gift. It was brand new in box, but never worked. It managed to drain 8 brand new AA batteries in less than 24 hours and never took one picture. I contacted customer service and was on hold for over an hour before somebody picked up. The agent that helped me was very nice and offered to send me a new camera, which was a newer model.I set up the new camera and was again having issues. This time I could tell it was taking pictures, however, it would not send to the app. I called customer service, dreading the wait time, but to my surprise, somebody answered after a few minutes. She took my information, including name, phone number, and camera model, then proceeded to tell me that I will receive a call back, and that I shouldn’t call them again before someone reaches out to me. I asked her how long I should expect to wait and she told me within 24 hours. It is now weeks later and nobody ever called me. I kept playing with the camera and took the SD card out to see the photos on my phone. Eventually, after playing with it long enough, the picture started sending to the app.There are barely any instructions. There does not seem to be a zoom out option, so the camera has to be placed, nearly ground level, otherwise it just takes a straight zoomed in photo. I have the camera set to video mode, which is just a joke. As you can see in my first upload, the video is actually three still photos combined together. The fox in my video is there one second and then poof, it’s gone and appears somewhere else. There is also no option to increase the length of the video beyond 10 seconds or change the resolution. Terrible product!!! |

I purchased this camera a week ago, soon realized the basic 600 picture plan was not going to cover the camera activations, it took MANY pictures of NOTHING?I upgraded after 2 days to the Ultimate Package, Plan showed the upgrade, 3 days later the camera shuts down and says my 600 pictures limit have been met? Even though the website says other!I emailed their support, 2 days pasted, no response! I called their support the following day and the rep said I would get a call back, a day later, zero communication!!!The camera takes awesomely pictures of NOTHING! I assume that is on purpose to force you to upgrade to the more expensive plan, even after setting the camera to video mode to see if the wind was blowing a tree branch, zero movement in the video or picture frames?Just a scam to extract more of your hard earned $$$$! |

Terrible camera/customer service

Camera keeps getting stuck on OD Timeout with full signal. Battery shows 0% even will a fully charged 12v battery box sold by this company. Failed to take deer picture when my 5 year old Moultrie Mobile camera works fine. Called customer service and they said I would get a call back but never heard from anyone. Do yourself a favor and find another camera. |
