Hardware is good enough, software is an absolute nightmare |
Camera works pretty much fine, at least no complaints for the hardware side. It occasionally buggy with the dog/person detecting and notifications.Now the app though, that thing is horrible. Go on the play store and read those reviews before buying. It only works sometimes, and when it does work it will not let you see the videos in landscape mode, it'll actually crash the app if you try. Treat Launching and talking through the camera work pretty well when you get the app working.Notifications are hit or miss, you'll either have none or 50, no matter what you do to the notification preferences. It's supposed to be able to schedule the on/off, but if you try to set up a "turn on 9-5 and 10-4am" type schedule it will just make the camera stop working.If i can find a better model in the next day or so I'm going to return.Oh, but, you get to deal with all of this in exchange for not having a subscription, so it's kind of worth it? |
