Sure the battery dies quickly and I have to charge at least once a week, but I have it mounted in a tree and the solar panel is somewhat blocked. For the past week, I can't playback any videos and I get a message stating no playback videos exist for the day, even when I know for a fact that I've had birds in there and it should have recordings. I've tried a few times, submitting a tech support ticket with no follow-up. I've tried e-mailing...again haven't heard anything back. The one thing I can see is that it has now done an update and it looks like in order to run playback I have to purchase cloud storage (which I don't need). This is very frustrating and frankly, irritating as well.
