\nHurts my ears, too quite.\n |
4.0 out of 5 stars |
These are the most uncomfortable earbuds I have ever had. I have tried every ear tip included, but my ears always hurt by the time I remove them. This has never happened with any other earbuds I've owned. Also, call volume is significantly lower than audio volume, and even at max volume, I have a hard time hearing the person on the phone call. When playing audio, they get plenty loud. Overall, these are not very good earbuds, even at the low price point. |
*Update 7/31/23While my opinion of the NC9 has not changed (they still hurt my ears and the audio during phone calls is too quite), I am raising a star for the customer service they provided. After leaving this 3 start review, a representative from Tozo reached out to me to discuss the issues I was experiencing. They suggested the NC2 model would be better suited for me and offered to send me a pair, for free. They did not ask for anything in return, not even a better rating. They just wanted me to enjoy their products I guess. So I figure customer service like that is worthy of at least 1 star. After I get a couple weeks of use from the NC2, I will add a review about them as well. Thanks Tozo!*Original reviewThese are the most uncomfortable earbuds I have ever had. I have tried every ear tip included, but my ears always hurt by the time I remove them. This has never happened with any other earbuds I've owned. I think it has to do with the shape or size of the actual speaker port inside of the ear tip, or maybe the shape of the buds overall. No matter what I try to do, it just rubs my ears wrong. Also, call volume is significantly lower than audio volume, and even at max volume, I have a hard time hearing the person on the phone call. I have tried adjusting all the audio settings in my phone, as well as the settings in the Tozo app, but phone calls remain very quiet. When streaming audio, the sound quality is pretty darn good, and the volume is plenty loud enough. It's just a shame that call volume is so much lower.Everything else about these buds are pretty good. The Bluetooth connection is great, pairing is great, build quality is great, battery is great, streaming audio is great, but the fit is poor, and call quality audio is poor. Overall, these are not very good earbuds for me, even at the low price point. |

\nDecent quality, annoying features\n |

The noise canceling/transparent mode is switched anytime one touches or even brushes the back of the left earbud with one’s finger. Dumb system. Having to readjust the earbuds’ position in one’s ears easily activates the touch sensors. |
Like: comfortable fit, great price, decent soundDislike: noise canceling feature is very weak, does not much cancel noiseWhen I expressed my dissatisfaction with the product, the manufacturer contacted by email and offered to send me another pair for free. So that was nice. ? |
