Thought this would be a good way to feed my kats while I'm out of town . Yeah , it's not . I have tried multiple brands of food . I've even took a hammer to bust the food up to more little pieces. No it does not work !! Gets jammed up every single time . So as you can tell it's empty and I have to fill the bowls . Camera is the only good part about this product. I reckon I'm going to try chicken feed , bc why not !! |

I am so upset with this purchase. It arrived a few days before I went on vacation so I set it up immediately and it worked like a charm for a few days while I was home. Wifi connection was a bit of a pain at first but I figured it out. Then, two days into a 9-day vacation, I get a notification on my phone that it malfunctioned. And every feeding thereafter - a malfunction. There was no explanation of the issue or how to troubleshoot remotely. Were it not for the extra bowls of food that I left out to supplement the feeder, my cats would have starved to death. I was distraught and considered ending our vacation early to go home and feed them because I had no idea what, if any, food was dispensed. The only redeeming quality on this thing is that I could check in on the cats and even talk to them to see that they were alive and not struggling. The 2-way sound and movement detection alerts/snapshots were good for that. But I was so distraught the whole time about this malfunctioning POS... it is getting returned if my husband didn't already throw out the box & packaging. Now that I'm home I still can't figure out what the problem is!!! |
