Well this cat feeder was ordered for our feral cat population, we bought another brand but wanted the 2 bowls for the kibble versus one. The box came with "other tape" on the outside making me right away suspicious that it had been returned before. Upon opening the box to see the product box, it had parts bags taped on top of it when they should have been inside the product box. The inspection right away revealed left over kibble dust in the food container, and a human hair in between the 2 bowls, was black, I am all gray so I knew it didn't fall off my half bald head. Plugged it in to try to program it (No manual was included) turned out to be rather frustrating because it wouldn't accept any instructions past the 2nd setting, tried to go the 3rd setting and it went to spot #12 (which this feeder only has 4 spots) then it tried to go to spot #123! Obviously a Bug for sure, so buy this at your discretion we sent it back right away. |

Could not get the settings right

I ordered 2 units so all 4 cats could eat at the same time. Only opened one box and could never get the settings right. Set the time wrong and tried to change it... even following the steps to reset, but could not get it right and could not get the unit to reset. So left the time wrong and went ahead and continued with the programming but no kibble ever dropped. Got error messages and still, the reset would not work. Gave up and returned both. I now see that the instructions are on the Amazon page and are much easier to read than the one that comes with the unit. That might have made a difference. Or maybe the one I opened was defective. Also, the next one I try will have buttons on the top. Really hard to see the screen on this unit. I did like that the bowls could be raised. |
