I'd look somewhere else, honestly. |
These aren't bad earbuds. They sound good, they are pretty comfortable (as far as earbuds go), battery life is good. Look, I'm not a audiophile headphone expert, but I can tell you these are good sounding headphones. The call quality is fine, though they have a weird problem on my computer when trying to talk to people on discord or something like that. Since these have a mic, I thought I could use them to talk to friends while playing games, but in order to use the microphone, you have to set them to 'hands free AG audio', which has terrible sound quality.My issues with these come down to the ANC and some technical issues. First off, the ANC is terrible. It barely blocks out anything, and it might as well not be there. There's also some slight connection problems. Nothing big, but I'll get little hiccups randomly or when I start to play something. It doesn't happen often enough to bother me too much, but it is a little bit annoying.My biggest issue by far is this problem they started to have (which is now seemingly permanent) where the audio is kinda muffled. This started happening randomly after not having them for too long, and while I got them to go back to normal by unpairing and reconnecting, that doesn't work anymore. What I mean by muffled is that the max volume is lower than it should be, much lower. Originally, I didn't need to go anywhere close to max volume for them to be loud enough, but now, sometimes even max volume isn't quite enough. Along with that the audio quality seems a bit worse. I don't have another well working pair to compare sound with, but the sound just feels... off. Just not as full, a bit more muddled, the bass isn't as punchy, etc. They still don't sound bad by any means, but I absolutely would not pay the original price for these.Considering they're only $120 right now, I wouldn't say it's a bad buy. On the other hand, considering the technical problems I've had, I'd recommend going with a more established brand. |
