I have several Netvue products including Sentry Plus, Belle, and Orb Mini. Since I have the app, I thought this will satisfy my interest of bird watching. I was skeptical of squirrel deterrent claims using sound and light. But I went ahead and take the plunge. The installation and setup were easy. However, my backyard squirrels were able to find it within 2 days as predicted. The sound and light were not able to deterred them. I finally saw a bird visit it but despite AI was able to recognize it, the warning light came on anyway and scared the bird away. I think the AI is a good idea. The light and sound are theoretically good but it is a hit and miss in the real world. The quality of picture is good. I also noted you can't connect to the camera while it is recording due to the activity. That is, there is no live view. |
