The fit is not as good. This version is not as flat on the sides along the ears. It puts pressure on the back side of the ear extending the ears outward somewhat. I thought this would be a big problem when wearing them for long periods of time, but it hasn't turned out to be that big of a deal and I can ignore it. The old generation would give a battery level of "high" even after an hour of use. The new version will say " battery medium" after 1 hour of use.
