Initially I wrote a review,, with a somewhat critical text, about the cost during prime and how it was more than the regular price. Couple of days ago Red Tiger sent me an email saying if I edited the review they would offer a full refund. I edited the review of the price and they said it was not enough and offered a refund if I deleted the comment. So I have a moral delema, take the money and run and mis-lead the other possible buyers of the dash cam or do I come clean. I am so tired of these some of these vendors scamming buyers so I will leave my original review here and add my new communications from RedTiger. (preceding) It's only moneyThis dash cam Needs hardwired kit to get parking sensor to work (extra cost). The fuse taps on the hardwired kit are wrong size for a Ford (I can work around this) The power leads were labeled wrong on both kits (added work for me under cramped dash but gott'er done). Mobile app won't allow connection to Ford's Synch 4 system (worked on Synch 3). Customer service will not respond to emails about connection issue. So far the cameras (I bought 2, on for each vehicle) seem to work well. |
