It has potential, but with an overwhelming design flaw.On the one hand, the bone conduction really work! When the little pads are properly in firm contact with the bones just in front of your ear, it's like magic: suddenly there is pretty good sound overlaid over the real world around you. Augmented reality for audio.But here's the problem: it was impossible for me to get those pads to stay in that proper, firm contact, and it might be for you too. If you happen to have a head that's exactly the right size and shape, you'll likely have a good experience with this product. But if you're outside of some very specific parameters, you're completely out of luck. The manual even tells you to make sure it's seated properly—but there's no actual way to meaningfully accomplish that.Because, for some reason, in a product where a perfect fit is absolutely essential to it's basic function, there is no way to adjust that fit AT ALL to accommodate the size or shape of your head. It doesn't even have a flexible wire over the ears that you can bend into a slightly different shape or angle, let alone anything more sophisticated. It'll either fit you and work well, or it'll fail completely—leaving you with something much worse than an on-the-hear headphone would be at a higher price.If you buy this you're rolling the dice. Better hope you have an extremely average head, and otherwise be prepared to return if it doesn't fit. Personally, I'd recommend staying away until they improve the design to make it at least slightly adjustable. It's a shame, but maybe the next generation will be better.
