As others have mentioned, it serves portions that you have to trial and error yourself to find out the appropriate portion for your pet.My problem is with the app. The app promises that it notifies you every time the food drops, but it’s very spotty. Sometimes, it notifies and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes, it doesn’t notify at all until I start disabling and re-enabling feeding times and even this method doesn’t always guarantee that it’ll start to notify. The feeding records will stop recording at some point with no errors or anything pointing to why it doesn’t record any longer. I’ve attempted to reach out to the seller, but there’s no resolution with the app.The feeder would also sometimes not feed on time. I would be sitting with my pet in front of the feeder when it’s suppose to drop the food and it doesn’t drop until 20 minutes past its scheduled time. Similar to other reviews, although this is advertised that it can function on either plug or battery, or absolutely does not work on battery.Third, setup is absolutely the most frustrating thing in the world. I followed the instructions in the manual and the app as they were slightly different, and neither worked. It warns you not to be more than 10 meters from the wifi if through a wall. I was less than 10 ft through a wall and nothing would connect, I never got my green dot no matter how long I pressed the button!Mind you I bought this for my dog as it stores more food, as I have Wopet cat feeders (2) for my cats which usss pet zero app which was literally under 5 seconds to setup and crazy simple. One of those feeders is in the same room as my dog feeder is and it's farther, so it absolutely shouldn't be the placement, the speed or any of the troubleshooting issues. So I just spent $100 on an auto feeder that will not auto feed. Super disappointed, especially bc of how great their smaller feeders are, but those will not hold enough dog food. So what now?! I thought staying within the same brand I would be safe and easy setup again and boy was I wrong.
