If that somewhere is on the camera, either on microSD or internal storage, this becomes useless as, if the intruder breaks or removes the camera, there is no proofing clip for the police. Therefore the NAS recording feature is excellent in storing remote camera clips. However, Eufy decided to remove the feature from Solocam S340... The official reason is limited battery capacity but lets be honest: If anyone buys the camera he will power it via the solar panel (my case) or via the USB-C supplied cable. No one will use the camera powered only with the battery. It is not efficient and not logical. I bought two S340 cameras paying 360 € in total (not cheap at all), only to discover they do not support NAS. And if an intruder breaks or destroys the camera, since the clips are recorded in internal memory, they are gone for ever.
