You can only take snap shots.Which as it's a security camera it's completely out of order not to be able to record clips from a point in time where an event has occured which whilst you can watch that event you ate unable to record it to then use as evidence perhaps.All you can do is take snap shots of the event.That to my mind makes this camera useless as an actual security camera.There's no manual with it and I can't find a pdf one.So I've had to figure out everything myself. Which because I've similar cameras from two others manufacturers I have experience to be able to figure it all out.To be left emailing tech support that seems not to understand what my problem is.Because I can watch the 24/7 recording made to my SD card. Except that's just for replaying the events to be viewed.Then where an event needs to be acted on where video clips may well be needed as evidence of a crime perhaps.All this camera will allow us snap shots.It is bewildering that a company can make a camera and call it a security camera and not provide what would reasonably be expected as an absolute must feature. To be able to record an incident being viewed in its replay mode.To only be able to take snap shots is ludicrous.Especially when other cameras I've bought from Amazon have that feature. It's really simple.You watch the past event. Recorded on the SD card. And then the bits you want to record to keep and use. The Wansview app is free to use if using a memory card in the camera, however you will find twice a year when UK clocks change that these cameras will NOT record a thing on those days! Also reported a number of times to Wansview but again they have done nothing to rectify the issue.
