Records constantly in night vision mode, even in daylight. |
Was not too technical to set up and easy to mount. It appeared to be working fine until nighttime. As soon as the camera switches to night vision it stays in that mode. It records black and white until you go into the app and toggle the "Illumination" button on and off in the live feed to make it realise it is daytime. All footage recorded has been black and white even though the camera can do 4K Colour.I have it set to record to an SD Card and it is very slow when seeking clips on the video, I guess the cloud storage option would be even slower than local storage so I've not enabled that.I cannot use the scanning feature as there is no option to set privacy zones so it is only used in a fix position to maintain privacy of other properties.UPDATE FEB 2024:Down to one star, would be zero if possible. The camera no longer works in colour at all and now when I view it live I get a still image. You can walk in front of it and the image does not change the time stamp freezes too. I am now longing for a replacement as this has been a waste of my time and money |
