The mounting plate is supposedly rather loose when the camera is twisted onto it as it only twists half an inch. Has anyon experienced the same issue? 2021-07-17 Yes. I have. And I've just come back from fitting 4 more for my brother. Not very secure. I might just put a spot or two of epoxy resin on mine to hold in place and hope I never have to take it down again. You would think they would have locked into place... Jerbear 2021-07-17
The mounting plate is supposedly rather loose when the camera is twisted onto it as it only twists half an inch. Has anyon experienced the same issue? 2021-07-17 They only fit correctly in one position if you get it wrong they are loose and not very secure ! It is only a half inch twist to lock it in . I would just recheck , must admit they aren’t the easiest connection Jameswood 2021-07-18
The mounting plate is supposedly rather loose when the camera is twisted onto it as it only twists half an inch. Has anyon experienced the same issue? 2021-07-17 Yes, it’s not anywhere near as robust a fitting as the previous metal bodied model, and doesn’t even have a locking screw. My RLC520 is mounted in a workshop space above a door and hasn’t moved in over a year despite obvious vibrations, but I do think it’s an area of concern for a security device. Tim 2021-07-18

The mounting plate is supposedly rather loose when the camera is twisted onto it as it only twists half an inch. Has anyon experienced the same issue? 2021-07-17 The plate has to go on a surface that is perfectly level otherwise not all the lugs engage when you turn it. Brickwork etc not level. Will, will this setup work: cameras connect via 10meter cat6 to poe switch, connected to tp link power line, 2nd tp link connected to router. thanks 2021-11-18 I see no reason why it should not. If you can get to the Internet from the Poe switch then it all should work. Unless the speed across the TP link is very slow with lots of errors. MR PAUL H JONES 2021-11-18
